Nach dem Berufsleben ist noch lange nicht Schluss: Mehrere hunderttausend Rentnerinnen und Rentner sind Mitglied der IG Metall.

Gemeinsam für eine gute Rente

Sie sorgen dafür, dass sie IG Metall in der Rentenpolitik gehört wird. In den letzten Jahren haben wir dadurch einiges erreicht: Grundrente, abschlagsfreie Rente ab 63, bessere Erwerbsminderungsrente.

Außerdem ist die IG Metall ein Ort, um im Ruhestand aktiv zu bleiben. Dafür gibt es in den IG Metall-Geschäftsstellen die Außerbetriebliche Gewerkschaftsarbeit, die „AGA“.

Gemeinsam gut in Rente

Metallerinnen und Metaller engagieren sich dort für andere Mitglieder. Sie bieten Rentenberatung an. Sie bringen bei Warnstreiks Kaffee ans Werkstor. Sie helfen in der Nachbarschaft.

Und oft treffen sie sich einfach so: Zum Reden, Singen oder für gemeinsame Ausflüge.

Auch das ist Gewerkschaft.

Der Seniorenarbeitskreis Freiburg trifft sich an jedem 2. Montag eines Monats in der Geschäftsstelle Freiburg.
